Step 1: To start your cleanse, choose a cleanser that is suitable for your skin type, whether it be a gel, cream, or foam formula. Wet your skin, and delicately massage the cleanser onto your face, using gentle circular motions, for one to two minutes. You can opt to rinse it off with water, or remove it using a clean washcloth or disposable sponges.
Step 2: There are various types of toners available, but for best results, opt for an alcohol- free formula. If your toner is in a pour bottle, saturate a cotton round and apply it evenly across your face. Alternatively, if it is in a spray bottle, mist it all over your face and gently pat it in, or spray it into your hands and pat it across your face.
Step 3: Nurture your skin with daytime serums that cater to your skin's specific needs. Gently pat the serum onto your skin until it feels slightly sticky. This is an excellent indicator that your skin is effectively absorbing the serum.
Step 4: Once again, it is crucial to choose a moisturizing product that suits your skin type. Dispense the product onto your fingertips, and massage it onto your skin in gentle, circular motions.
Step 5: The most critical step in your morning routine is to shield your skin from harmful UV rays. You can opt for either a mineral or chemical sunscreen. A mineral sunscreen forms a protective barrier on the skin's surface and provides immediate protection, while a chemical sunscreen is absorbed into the skin and is ideal for daily use. Steps 1 - 5 is your basic routine for morning/daytime. There are a few additional steps that you will be doing in the evening/nighttime, 2-3 times weekly.
Evening Routine after Step 2: Once you have applied the toner, proceed with exfoliation, selecting either a physical or chemical exfoliant, and following the instructions on the packaging.
Evening Routine after the step above: Tailor the mask application to suit your skin type by dispensing a nickel-sized amount into a dish, blending with a fan brush, and gently applying it to your skin. Refer to the instructions on the package to determine the recommended duration for leaving it on. To remove the mask, rinse it off or use a clean washcloth or disposable sponge.
Evening Routine after the step above: You can continue to Step 4, 5 & 6 of your morning/daytime routine.
